Learning-focused School Age Kids programming

KidsPoint School Age Kids serves the College Community School District, providing before/after school care for children in kindergarten through 5th grade.

KidsPoint provides the safety and convenience of having before and after school care for families. Teachers make it a point to do educational activities with the kids and provide assistance with homework and online learning so you don't have to worry about it after your workday. 

Program benefits:

• Hours are from 6:30 a.m.-until school starts  and after school-6:00 p.m.
• KidsPoint will plan care for school age kids for school closings, early outs, late starts at no additional cost to families   

KidsPoint also has families covered for school-breaks, which include: 

• Fall 
• Winter 
• Spring break 
• Summer (please see our Summer Camp page for more information) 

*KidsPoint C Street provides care for College Community School District.

Our Curriculum

KidsPoint utilizes The 40 Developmental Assets® youth development program for school age children. The assets are building blocks of healthy development that help young people grow to be healthy, caring and responsible. This curriculum is used in all school age programming at KidsPoint.

The primary focus areas of the 40 Developmental Assets® are:

• Boundaries and expectations
• Constructive use of time
• Commitment to learning
• Positive values
• Social competencies
• Positive identity

Activities include craft projects, dramatic play, large motor activities, group games, guest speakers, and field trips.

Summer Camp

KidsPoint provides a variety of safe, age appropriate activities throughout the summer through Summer Adventure Day Camps, including:

• Sports
• Crafts
• Cooking
• Dramatic play
• Games
• Team building
• Reading

In addition, we take weekly field trips, such as bowling, swimming, roller skating, AirFX, Lost Island Waterpark, and much more!

This year, Summer Day Camp will be located at KidsPoint C Street.
